Wheel and tire sizes... Post yours up.

Lets try to set this up so people can use it as a "will this setup be worth a shit" database on the site.

***If you could, please post make/model, a pic of the wheel setup so placement in fender is known, and wheel/tire specs******

245's probably bite harder than one would want for a N/A KA that's trying to slide. Luckily I have a set of Federal tires on the back so that helps a little.

My daily wheels are 17x9 and 9.5 +12 rota grids with 215/45-17s. My tires of choice are BFG G-Force sports. The tread runs wide but they dont have lip protectors so they look really stretched. I have those on the rear still and have a kumho ectsa something or other and a dunlop direzza dz101 on the front, a bad alignment ruined my front BFGs.

This was before I did an alignment. 4 degrees or so rear neg. camber. I have 1.0 now so it pokes out maybe 15mm or so more. The front doesnt fit very well so I'm omitting it for the time being, ha





I usually drift on whatever half decent junk comes into the shop. I get a lot of 205/50-17s

Haha no they are the stock rx7 wheels, and they are actually 5.5 I think. Plan on running 17x9s

15x8 +0 with 195/50 on front and 195/60s in the rear. For now.

I run 3 piece work meshies in the rear; 17x9j +11 with 205/40/17 federal's. I have about -4 degrees of camber, since that was the max I could bring it back in on stock RUCAs.
3 piece volk meshies up front; 17x9j+12, 215/40/17. The next set of tires I will by for the front will, of course, be 205/40/17's, just have the 215's on there because they were free and I didn't want to pay for front tires haha.
